I am a big believer in helping the body and mind heal themselves. Illness in general can be looked on as a breakdown of the body's natural balance. As a physician I can aid patients regain some of that natural balance that allows the body, mind and spirit to function at their best, no matter what your age. Using modern medical science along with this philosophy and your efforts goes a long way to maximizing a patients potential. I am also a strong believer in life after death. Our place in this world, and our mere existence on Earth, is not by chance. We all have a purpose for our existence, and it is important that we spend time daily striving to meet that purpose.
Dr. Krause relocated to Santa Maria in 2014 from Milwaukee, WI with his family. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1996. He completed a Family Practice residency at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA.
Dr. Krause enjoys sailing, biking, hiking and spending time with his wife and three children.
I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, joined the Air Force right out of high school and waited a while before pursuing nursing. I moved to Santa Maria in 2016 to take advantage of a job offer at Vandenberg AFB and fell in love with the Central Coast! I've worked on base, in hospice and in the county jails while obtaining my Nurse Practitioner degree.
I believe the human body is fearfully and wonderfully made. Every day we have an opportunity to adjust the recipe, and if we respect how we live and what we put into ourselves, we will have great results.
